Project Overview: An investor purchased the historic, 18-unit apartment property, completed renovations, and was looking to recapitalize their balance sheet to recoup construction costs. One nuance of the project was that several of the units were short term rentals, a stumbling block for many lenders. Ascend was able to structure the loan request in such a way that the lender was able to approve the loan request and provide the client with sufficient cash proceeds from the refinance, along with a favorable long-term interest rate.
